  One of the nicest camp grounds I've been at. Owners and staff very friendly, beautiful beach and a great pull through site. Great place for old and young alike! Thanks and we will be back.

  Rip Off. We have been 3 times this year and everytime there have been unposted additional charges ! Was having problems with my black tanks sensors so I put 10 gallons of water into the black tank to slosh around during the 1 hour drive to the trailer park. As the park has no sewer hookups, I dumped at the entrance before going to the campsite I had reserved for 3 nights. Was told at check-in that this would cost an extra $18.00 ! I could understand the charge if I was not staying at the park, but when I was staying there for 3 nights ? Asked to speak to a manager about the charge and was told that the owners had told the check-in girl to make sure I was charged the fee. I offered to go to another campground if they would refund my deposit less the "dumping fee" however deposits were non-refundable so it was either camp in this dump or lose my deposit. My wife and her parents drove down the next day as she had to work the Friday and they charged her a 2nd time for the visitor fees that I had also paid the day before. When the double charge was brought to their attention with the receipts, an "investigation" was required and they weren't able to provide a refund until the day after when we again had to go up to the office to address the issue again. On the previous stay, I was advised that during our previous stay we had not paid half of our 4 night camping fees and I had to pay or would not be permitted to enter the park and would forfeit my deposit. As my wife had paid the previous stay and was not there and I did not have the receipts, I had no choice but to pay the fees a 2nd time. Once my wife was able to e-mail me the receipts and I went to the office to prove that payment had been made in full, they could not make an immediate refund because they had to "investigate" which could not be completed until the following day. On the most recent trip, we had planned on staying a 4th and 5th night but after getting ripped off entering the park we decided to go a NY State Park 30 miles away for less than half the price and better facilities. The sites are extremely cramped to the point you can barely extend your arms between your trailer and your neighbour's slide. P -Park becomes a mudpit if there is the slightest amount of rain and you will have to pay for showers and everything else in addition to the nearly $70 (4 adults and one child) per night camping fees. Very poor value for money. Have been camping for over 25 years and do not mind paying for value - just got back from Lake George for a week and got great value at almost $100 US per night. P-Park needs to focus on providing some value for money rather than trying to gouge campers for every last dime and nickel with un-posted fees. We certainly won't be back until there is a change in management.
